June 6, Biratnagar. After the Nepal Oil Corporation increased the price of fuel, transport businessmen and laborers in Biratnagar staged a jam on Monday morning.
From Sunday night, the corporation has increased the price of diesel and kerosene by Rs. 27 per liter and petrol by Rs. 21 per liter.
After the price increase, the price of one liter of petrol has reached Rs 199, while the price of one liter of diesel and kerosene has reached Rs 192.
In protest against the price increase, the public transport workers and operators blocked the traffic by placing vehicles on the road section at Rajvashi Chowk in Biratnagar on the Kosi highway.
